Dish: Apricot and anise, similar to a sandwich

Piece of art: Her work is a series of photographs experimenting with some of the ingredients of the dessert, its flavours and light. She wanted to create a recipe, just as Bros’ created a recipe for a dish, something completely handmade and manual where each step influences the final result, playing with light, colour and the textures of the food and materials.

Artist: Dolores Sáiz is a 29-year-old photographer. She was born in Valencia (Spain) and currently lives in Madrid (Spain). She studied audiovisuals, editing and design in Valencia and decided to direct her studies towards the Direction of Photography in Madrid, where she studied a master’s degree and started working in advertising and cinema.
